Before you fill the form in
If you smell gas, leave the property and call the National Gas Emergency Service on 0800 111 999. For a fire, a flood that cannot be stopped, or any immediate risk to life, call 999 first and tell us afterwards.
For anything else, the form below is the fastest route. A photograph helps more than a paragraph of description, so add one if you can — it often means the right trade turns up first time instead of second.
What counts as an emergency
- No heating or hot water in cold weather
- A leak that cannot be contained
- Total loss of power, or exposed or sparking electrics
- An entrance door or ground-floor window that will not secure
- A blocked only toilet, or a total loss of water
Mark the report urgent and call us as well. Everything else is logged, triaged and scheduled with you.
What happens next
- Your report is logged the same day and given a reference.
- We assess it for safety and urgency — emergencies are escalated immediately.
- We contact you to arrange access, with at least 24 hours’ notice unless it is urgent.
- The repair is completed and recorded against the property.
If you have reported something and heard nothing, call us and quote the reference. A repair that has stalled is a failure on our side and we would rather know.
